Reenactment, "Stuart's Ride." Events near the border between Maryland and Pennsylvania recall the 145th anniversary of Confederate JEB Stuart's ride to Gettysburg. Union Mills Homestead north of Westminster MD hosts a public pancake breakfast ($6) with the troopers 7-10 am. The cavalry then rides north crossing the Pennsylvania border to the Sheppard Farm near Hanover. Gates open there to living history and reenactment at 11 am.
