Part of this park interprets the battle fought here April 15, 1862, when scouting parties bumped into each other. Following an hour-long fight, the Confederates withdrew to Tucson. Following the action, Union forces occupied this part of New Mexico Territory. Entrance fee: $7/vehicle (1-4 adults). Note: Park closed during summer months. See website for dates.
